Objectives

Communicate the “Un-Carrier Revolution” to consumers in the Northeast and change their perception about T-Mobile’s perceived network coverage.

  1. Educate consumers about T-Mobile Un-Carrier Moves.
  2. Increase foot traffic and sales in T-Mobile retail stores.
  3. Increase brand awareness through mobile impressions.
  4. Change consumer perception about the T-Mobile brand.

Solution

  1. Created five custom-designed, T-Mobile Showrooms, powered by BobCar, for a three market, six-month activation.
  2. Executed robust, hyper-local activations in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Boston and Philadelphia.
  3. Assigned fifteen highly motivated Brand Ambassadors to the showrooms to engage in conversations with customers outside targeted T-Mobile retail locations. Handed off qualified leads to T-Mobile retail representatives, increasing sales volume inside the store.
  4. Encouraged consumers to try out the fastest 4G LTE network on the latest T-Mobile devices and tablets.

Results

Our T-Mobile campaign won Silver Winner at the 2015 EX Awards for “Best Mobile Marketing Program”. The EX Awards are the world’s largest recognition ceremony for Experiential Marketing. As a result, T-Mobile has expanded the program to a national circuit.
